I was originally looking into the Molle 501 vest But after searching, I came across MarsGear.com. I only had one review to go by so I said what the heck. If anyone tells you that it's the drummer that makes the beats and it has nothing to do with the quality of the drums/They are full of S&%T. The material itself is Very thick. The only thing I noticed was that the stitching is not double stitched but it's not a weak stitching either. If you wanted to double stitch the material then i'm sure it would last a lifetime. However, I do believe even wothout the double stitch, it would still last a good 4 to 7 years with no problems but that's just my opinion..At first, Mars forgot to send me the pouches. I called them and told them what's up and the guy sent them out to me that very same day and apologized for the mishap. He was telling me that this was a promotion from the manufacturer. Thanks MARS GEAR. I will be shopping from you guys again, I'm sure of it....

I bought this product recently and was a little skeptical about the size of it when it arrived in a medium size box. I opened the box and took in the new item smell, and then pulled out the item. To my suprise, it was just because it had been folded down to smallest size to fit in the box. When I put it on, it was a little tight, because I was a 3XL person back a few months ago, but with me losing weight and getting smaller, it can now fit me perfectly (I am now a 2XL). Also... I noticed that there was pockets INSIDE the vest that you can fit magazines (like Fitness Magazines, not weapon) or maps if you are a RECON Sniper, of just an outdoorsman, etc. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars for sizing and a 10 out of 5 for customization.
